Two Ladies in Hats: Done in my Watercolor Class yesterday. We were supposed to learn about values. Watercolor, Pen and Ink. 7x10 on hot press paper. I had to take the Dial A Ride (DART) to class because my painting partner was out of town. She does the driving because I sold my car, so I have to find other methods of transportation. I find I don't like to draw or paint about my daily life. But I do paint Daily, so posting the art is much more fun for me. I try to sell everything I paint, in order to supplement my SS income. So far it is working. I sell on Etsy, Ebay, Daily Paintworks, and from my websites. As long as I keep painting and selling it keeps me off the streets, busy and out of trouble. LOL.

Two lovely ladies in hat! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sirkka, I was going to cut them into 2 paintings, but decided the little red drip connected them like they wanted to stay together so I have not scissored them yet.
ReplyDeleteI love these two paintings Penny and well done on supplementing your income by selling your art work.
ReplyDeleteI love the ladies in the hats!!! How great that you sell in so many places...good for you!
ReplyDeleteThese are great, love the different colour combos. They do look good together. Wonderful that you are able to see your paintings.
ReplyDeleteI love the splashy, drippy paint effects which are just right for these two pretty paintings. There is always something mysterious and intriguing about faces half hidden by hats. Well done to you for exploring so many avenues for selling. It is clear that painting is a large part of your daily life. Good luck to you.
ReplyDeleteLove the hat ladies you painted Penny . Thumbs up! Good look with your selling.
ReplyDeleteI really like these as a pair!
ReplyDeleteI agree painting in your daily life is fitting for this theme as the art itself. Glad to hear of an artist making some sort of a living from selling her art! Bravo to you! These are lovely too.
