HUMAN BEINGS AND HOW THEY SPEND THEIR TIME, READING, JEZ EDEN
Another clinic visit last Thursday, only for a blood sample for Dev, ready for next week's regular clinic appointment. Just a quick 'In-Out', or it should be. But waiting time was one hour. This is one of the sketches I made of an old gent reading. I don't suppose he would like it - inside he probably feels, like me, that he is really only 25, it's just the outside that doesn't know that. Perhaps you know that feeling.

jez fantastic sketch. and i know what you mean. bless you and dev
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch, you used your waiting time well. Oh boy, I know what you mean...where do the years go!
ReplyDeleteWaiting gives you lots of opportunities to sketch people. Nice job on the man!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful portrait. You are an inspiration, Jez! I believe you've caught his youthful spirit, too :)
ReplyDeleteLove your lines making up this old gent. He might be flattered! Perhaps we should all draw our inner selves that are SO much younger than our outer selves? Mine is flying around as young as young can be! While I try to make friends with this new outer shell that has droopy skin that was once taunt! LOL
ReplyDeleteJez, I know definitly the feeling! Great sketch you did. The waiting room is a good place to sketch, if you have the supplies with you. I seldom have.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone. It's always good to get positive feedback when I think something is not too good.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I know that feeling well. He makes a great sketch model with his older outsides, though! I like this a lot.
