Art Supplies "Primary Tubes" by Elisa Choi
I am starting today's theme of art supplies by painting my watercolor tubes of primaries. While it's true that one can already mix various colors with these but I find that the secondary colors and the rest have much vibrant hues when they're not mixed but come right out of their own tubes of colors.

Great start to the theme, Elisa. I like the simplicity of the three tubes, and the shadows, reflecting the colour of each tube. Should be an interesting fortnight with your double challenge.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez. it should be a fun one i hope for us. :)

DeleteI can feel the squishiness of the tubes and enjoy the shadow work as they lay on their surfaces. I like the variety of colors we are offered by paint sets. I prefer the pans to tubes for some reason. I am experimenting more and more with mixing colors though too. It's a fun way of learning what I can do.
ReplyDeletePaint tubes are always such fun things to sketch and paint with all their indentations. Nicely done!!
ReplyDeleteJej, new theme! This is so good start! The shadows are very nicely done!
