These tulips are sitting on our kitchen counter in a lime green vase! Did you know that if you take a pin and poke it through the stem just under the bloom it will stay erect longer!! Wish I knew that years ago! Now if only the weather around here would follow suit and act a little more Spring like!

ReplyDeleteSo funny you should say that... I had a very very hard time doing it...I felt like I was puncturing a fish... I balked at it...whining while I pricked them...but sure enough it worked. I remember my friend who was a floral manager telling me that too!! They are holding up beautifully!!
