Kitchen by Joan Tavolott

I did finally sketch the "kitchen" area in our room very quickly last night. I was too tired to even add color. We got back to the room at 10 pm. I did this as a continuous line. There is a full size fridge and a microwave as well as a coffee maker setup. My little igloo cooler is on the counter.

Luckily we had a fridge with a freezer with lots of ice. I slipped getting into the shower this afternoon and hit my mouth on the edge of the tub. I split my lip on the inside and the right side of my face is swollen from my lips up to a little ways below my eye. So I have been icing it as much as possible. It is sore, but I'm lucky I didn't break something. I do look gorgeous though. LOL

  1. So sorry about you slipping like you did. Wow, luckily you weren't hurt worse. Your sketch is great just the way it is. Hope the swelling goes down quickly. Take care.

  2. Oh Joan, what a bad slip, I am so so sorry you are puffy and sore. Glad nothing broke too!
Your one liner is terrific! Absolutely love it! A full fridge, wow! Are you cooking your own meals there? Can you chew now!?

  3. Sorry you slipped in the shower, do take care, hope your mouth is recovering. With all that to contend with your continuous line drawing is really good.

  5. LOL I did the drawing before I fell. I now look like a prizefighter and am on the computer typing with one finger while I ice my face.

  6. Oh no, I am so sorry you were hurt! Hotels should really have nonslip surfaces in their showers. This one does get points for a full size fridge. Nice one liner!
