Kitchen, by Joan Tavolott

This is one of the sketches that I did yesterday before leaving home. This is the spot I head for first every morning for a cup of coffee. Even though I drink decaf I think it wakes me up. There is my salt grinder on the right, my set of knives on the left, and the Italian bread that my hubby requested that I buy for him to have while I'm away. He likes to play in the kitchen while I'm gone.lol

At present my sister and I are in transit from NY to Myrtle Beach for an art workshop.  Before I left I made sure I had a few sketches done to post if I don't have time to do something new. That way I can still join in with all of you.

  2. Fun to see your morning coffee, as you prepare to take off. I do believe there is just enough caffeine in decaf to keep a light weight going. When I drank latte with decaf it gave me a bit of a buzz. Now I get it from my morning smoothies (fruit and veggie). I too like the colors used here, A homey feel to this picture. DH will miss you. I know you are enjoying the workshop!
