This old onion storage pot is what I now use for my kitchen utensils. I was going to keep it just as a pencil drawing
but then decided to add a splash of colour

This is excellent. It's great to use the "old" things we have. Recycle so to speak. You brought to mind an old heavy bowl I have that's missing a handle on the side but It too can be recycled. Thanks. Great drawing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gloria, yes I love repurposing things.
DeleteAnn, again I think that the splash of colour sat right:) Also the drawing is good, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sirkka, I didn't think too much about where I would put the paint, if I had, I would have lost spontaneity and painted 'very tight'.
DeleteLove both, but the splash of color truely brings it to life!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn....I felt that too. Also, I wanted to show what the storage pot actually looked like. I wonder if folks in other countries have these?
DeleteI do!
DeleteI like it both ways. Mine usually look better before the color since I am watercolor impaired, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLol, I love the phrase 'watercolor impaired' which you are not, that's for sure.
DeleteI love both renditions. I love your use of watercolors. You are very free! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, the watercolor brightens it up so much!!! Good job on this one Ann!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful....love the added color!
