Just in the nick of time, before the new theme is up, I'm posting a quick marker sketch of the granddaughter of a friend of mine playing at a small water garden. I love how the little things we take for granted sometimes are such objects of wonder to small children. We could learn so much from them. Anyway, I think it would make a great pastel or watercolor too, but I'll definitely need to work on her proportions a little more. Blessings!

This is a great sketch of the little girl in the water garden. You are right that it would make a nice watercolor or pastel!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! I have a very hard time drawing children, especially my own grandchildren. They always look way older in my drawings! I think you nailed it!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty picture, Arnoldo, it would be so lovely as a card. I find children hard to draw, but you have captured her so well.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful sketch Arnoldo. It would make a terrific card some day.
ReplyDeleteYou've done a lovely drawing of this child, Arnoldo! I can definitely imagine it as a pastel.
