It has gone a little time since I sent a posting here, I feel it so. But I have been busy with other duties and the weather has been so beautiful so I have been outdoors and worked in the garden. I have read postes from all of you, you have worked so great and sketched a lot.
To day I was out and sketched plain air. Some flowers are in bloom and I sketched some of them.
There are crocus in several colors blooming.
Before the crocus began these flowers to bloom allready in the begin of march.
I had at least three of the deeres visiting me to day, I could take only one photo, which I show you with pleasure, if Lynn allows:
They were fritened of something (not me!). As you can see, we have sunshine here, the nights are cold, so there is not so much green yet.

Sirkka, thank you for these lovely drawings of flowers from around your house! And the picture of the deer, and the woods. I can almost feel the early spring air and smell the pine. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Margare for youe comment. It really has been lovely spring air here, now perhaps it will be colder again...
DeleteThese are really beautiful paintings
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran, I appreciate that.
DeleteBeautiful flowers! Now, are you going to paint the deer?
ReplyDeleteThanks Penny. We`ll see, perhaps...!
DeleteHi Sirkka. Happy day to you. I love your crocus and the photo is great. Deer are the most beautiful creatures around but they are going to eat your crocus. tee hee:)) Have a great day and thx for the comment.
ReplyDeleteThank you, YouofCourse! Deers are beautiful, but I know what they do:) I have experiences from summers before, I can not enjoy so many tulips, crocus, because they disappear in the mouths of these animals! But I take it calm.
DeleteBeautiful paintings sirkka. I love the snowdrops, they are so elusive in my garden, maybe I'll remember to plant them this coming fall.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photo of the deer, they are such gorgeous creatures.
Annabelle
Thank you Annabelle. The snowdrops are the first blooming plants every spring here, they begin allready when the snow is there. The deer is so beautiful animal, you are so wellcome.
DeleteSo happy for you that snow has melted away and spring has sprung! Your flower paints so delicate and lovely shows of spring! Love the peek at the deer too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn, yes, you are right no snow more. And flowers begin to spring. Allthough it is allmost one month earlier than usual. I have four deers now living here around. They come and visit and eat everything that is green!
DeleteI love the sketches of the crocuses that are blooming. They are so pretty! I know some people have had a crocus or two come up here already, but I haven't seen any yet. I am watching carefully!
ReplyDeleteJoan, thank you! I hope you might see more of the crocuses soon there around you!
