Garden's & Parks, "Hollyhocks Painted" by Lynn Cohen

I did it, I got up early enough this morning to paint the  hollyhocks I drew yesterday! They are dancing for you and with you! Enjoy their happy faces!

  1. Oh yes, I am enjoying them. I think they are unbelievable plants, and the painted version here is lovely. Spring has given us a few sunny days, but still cold and windy, so I really look forward to seeing some more floral brightness in all the gardens around us soon.

  4. Oh yeah Lynn! I love your painted version. Love them both but this rocks. It's a reminder to me to closely look after my hollyhocks, they liven up the garden as yours do the screen. Have a wonderful day, you artist you! tee hee.

  6. I love it!!! Hollyhocks are so pretty and you did such a wonderful, colorful version of them. I just went back to your other post which I hadn't seen yet to see it just in ink. Great job, Lynn!

    1. I have no idea why they wouldn't unless your birds and chicks at all the seeds! ;-) They naturally scatter /drop so many seeds when the flowers dry out. Sometimes I'd collect them and spread them to other areas in my yards. But for the most part they just regrew where they were growing the year before. I didn't do anything special at all. Glad you like them.
