This after the rain sketch shows some of the tree line. I tried to catch some of the moist atmosphere in the air.
This will be my last posting until the next event. The next 2 weeks I hope to be pleinair painting with my oil paints.

Rob, this is so beautiful. I can feel the rainy day feel it has, can almost smell the clean air! Thanks for letting us know what you are up to, and have fun with your oil paints en plein air. I look forward to your return here at next theme.

DeleteReminds me of one of the old master's paintings. Dark and Mysterious . . . looks like oil paint. Have fun doing the plein air.
