Gardens and Parks, St Frances

St frances , oil on canvas 24x 30 . Reference, my garden statue. Not finished,  I'm waiting for Frances to dry before I can go back in.

  1. Wow. Looks amazing. That is one of the small reasons I am not a fan of working with oils. I usually need to work fast so I use acrylic. Although I have to say there is nothing like a nice details oil painting.

  4. He looks a little blue . . . sad I mean. The jpg is so small I thought it was an ATC, but it is huge. I don't think I have ever painted anything larger than 18 x 24. Wow! Impressive.

  5. Thanks everyone, I think it took longer to learn to post it than to paint.it. The real statue is a raw seana color.
    I took libertties with the colors.
