Rob Kulas, Close to home. Finally a sunny day!

Close to Home
I took advantage of seemingly one of the rare sunny days in my part of Michigan lately.
This is a scene near the house of one of our vehicles with snow drifts blocking it in.
I loved the deep blue shadows that were all over the landscape this day. I did this small about 4x6 watercolor and gouache sketch in a Moleskine Sketchbook.

  1. Fun contrast to your first one with all the color here. Wonderful blue shadows! So much snow, painted so well.

  5. Oh so much snow you have had this winter! Great painting of the car in the snowy landscape. Usually we have much snow but not in this winter!
