Close to home My mug Sirkka Jalava
Inspired of other artists paintings of their own tea cups I sketched my morning tea cup or mug. I have had it many, many years and still like it. There is a text Mums mug on it and a girland with red roses.
Joan, thank you! Yes, you are right, here we come closer to each others than earlier. We can see - as you say - a bit in i everyone´s own life and millieu.
The delicacy of your painted cup shows it's age and how much it is loved! I think it must be time for me to reach into my own cupboard, as I have some favorites as well. Beautifully done, Sirkka!
