The sun is shining here in Rochester, NY...I may be one of the only people actually sad to see all this snow and ice go.
I sketched these icicles hanging off our roof (looking out the window at the neighbors' house) about an hour and a half ago, and now they're already half melted away!

Icicles are so pretty but...I'd still rather be warm. :D
ReplyDelete:) I stay warm, drinking my coffee inside and looking out at the ice :)
DeleteI've always been fascinated by icicles! They seem almost magical to me! Sweet view you've drawn!
ReplyDeleteNow I know there are at least two of you here from New York! ;-) thanks for sharing your location!
They are definitely magical! Yes, Joan and I are sharing the same weather (though usually NYC is a bit warmer than here)
DeleteNice sketch of the icicles! Much of our snow and ice has melted since it rained here a bit the last few days when other areas had a bit more snow...but there are still mounds of it that were plowed and areas that are flooding due to the melting snow. I guess we can't win. You have probably had a bit more snow than we have up there in Rochester.
ReplyDeleteNice sketch. I grew up in snow country when a youngster.. I didn't mind the snow.. not when it shut down school. :)) Just stay out from under a big icicle. they are like swords. lol
ReplyDeleteCris has right, stay out from icicles! Margaret, you have drawn something we are used to have here in Finland, but not this year (Idon´t mind)
