Congratulations are in Order
I offer this one flower bouquet to the TWENTY contributing ARTISTS of
Paper, Paint, Pencils & Pens
today in celebration of our ending of our FIRST THEME, "CLOSE TO HOME"!
In the first 2 weeks and 3 days of this blog (started on February 13, 2014) we 20 artists have posted 76 posts, received and exchanged 803 comments, had over 3600 page views! I think we can safely deem this blog a huge success!
And I for one am very proud of all of you and of it! Thank you all for agreeing to participate and for your wildly wonderful awesome art, as well as for your incredible inspiration, encouragement and support of one another.
Thanks too to all the visitors and followers who also stop by to view our art and leave their wonderful words to us.
This drawing was done as an ATC size 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" Bristol smooth surface paper, with black ink pen and Winsor & Newton watercolors.
The flower I brought in from my backyard camellia bush to draw and paint from.
TOMORROW: March 1-March 15 we begin drawing from our next theme: "Kitchen" suggested by Lisa Richards. Like I said earlier let your mind go wild. You can draw in your own kitchen, your favorite restaurants kitchen, your "dream kitchen", etc. Use your imagination, as it is full of food for thought!
Thank you all for making this so much fun!
