Close to Home, by Joan Tavolott

This is another view from the bay side near me towards Fire Island that I painted at the beginning of the week. There is still a bit of snow covering the dunes here, although with our warm temperatures yesterday the snow that I painted her is probably gone. It was warm enough today that with the remaining snow, the temps and the moisture in the air we had a lot of dense fog which made dreamy conditions useless you were driving a long distance like I was today.

  1. You are such a fantastic artist! I drool over this snow and brown grasses scene! Awesome!

BTW, you told Sirkka that you keep your car in your guitar. Please don't confuse her like that! LOL

    3. Melisa, that would be a fun kind of car, but I don't think it would fit much when I travel long distances. lol
