Boats - Ann Hyde

Although we look at the sea, we don't get that many boats passing by.
However, we do see a lot in the harbour -
(I've always wondered if people just own them, look at them,
sit on them, but don't sail them, lol)

Signs of Manly (Boats), by Elaine (jaguarish)

I decided to focus on small details on this day as I strolled around looking at the area.

Polly Woodside by Elaine (jaguarish)

Polly Woodside is a "tall ship" preserved at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia, and forming the central feature of the South Wharf precinct.

She is a Belfast-built, three-masted, iron-hulled barque. The ship was originally built in Belfast by William J. Woodside and was launched in 1885.  For more history see: http://www.pwva.org.au/history.php

This is just a continuous line sketch of the upper half of this ship done while waiting to meet someone.
