Once I caught a fish alive.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten –
Then I let it go again.
Why did I let it go?
Because it bit my finger so.
Which finger did it bite?
The little finger on the right.

Love your mice stories! Is the poem from Mother Goose? I'm always amazed at how much you get onto such a small area! So cute!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lynn. It was first recorded in Mother Goose's Melody around 1765.
