Reference Photo, Bath Abbey by Elisa Choi


The beautiful details of Bath Abbey struck me and I decided to sketch it loosely in paint to simplify. I wish I had the time to paint all the wonderful photos that Lynn and Ann have shared. If this theme is finished will the gallery still be up? :) Thanks!

    Elisa, this is such a beautiful rendition of Bath Abbey, I'm so pleased you took the time to paint it.
    Yes, we will keep the Reference photos in the sidebar, I'll put them under our Flickr pictures - the Reference Photos will just be headed Reference Photos Click Here, so they will be accessible for everyone.

    Absolutely fantastic! I recently went on a big roadtrip from Paris to Milan and carried art supplies around everywhere with me, thinking I would make time to paint. But we were just non-stop going from one place to another, and I never got time to even make a mark on paper. But your lovely piece has inspired me to go back through all my photos and create some paintings from those. :) Happy PPF!
