For me, I would choose Cod covered in batter and fried (not exactly healthy) and chips, fried, again not healthy...a sqeeze of lemon over and perhaps some vinegar and salt....how unhealthy could this meal be, but oh so tasty.
As I say, I 'used' to like this, but these days I feel much better without anything made that contains flour or cooked in oil. Still, Bon Appetite all.
Ann, it's a lovely drawing of the unhealthy meal! LOL I can almost taste the lemon and vinegar. I often wonder how much damage I have done to my heart/arteries over the years with poor eating choices. And will the major changes I've made in the past couple of years really add years to my life? Well, one can hope!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn, glad you like the drawing. I wonder about eating choices too, we may never really know, but at least we can help ourselves now :-)
DeleteNice job, Ann, makes me salivate!
ReplyDeletefantastic watercoloring!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna, CL and Susi.....I did a slightly different technique for this, I had the colour ready, but I wetted the various areas first with Clear water, then dropped the paint on. This way I could also add other Stronger pigment straight from the palette and watch it Paint Itself...it's a fun way to paint.
ReplyDeleteNice job. Looks ready to eat. I love fish and chips and I still eat them whenever I can.:) Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly make a tasty meal don't they :)
DeleteLove your technique, and your illustration.
ReplyDeleteNicely sketched!!! I'm sure it is a nice treat once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI've fond memories of eating fish & chips in London while on vacation.
