Love your whimsical landscape Donna. You do these so well, wish I had the imagination for this kind of art.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your painting skill!
DeleteAlso magical. Did you add salt for the sand? Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteFor the sand, I tried to concoct my own Gel Medium Light Pumice - I used yellow tinted sand (already colored), Golden Matt Medium and a bit each of tan and white fluid acrylic. It gets very solid and thus permanent. It mounds if needed. I made a tiny mound of a cat buried in the sand on my other version of cats at the beach!
DeleteThank you Donna, how very interesting. I appreciate knowing your process!
DeleteYou are welcome!
DeleteI think I need to join Mr. Cat!!! Cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. There's definitely room on the beach here, but Mr. Cat vants to be alone!
DeleteMixed media madness! LOL. Your stories are wonderful, and the drawings whimsical. Good job, Donna.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Penny!
