some time ago, but as it fits the Theme here
I thought I would share it with you....

Ann, I love his one, no wonder it sold. Congrats. You must paint another. It reminds me of Exmoor when I lived there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maggie....actually it is Exmoor...the journey we have heading across from Woolacombe to Taunton...we like to take the scenic trip across.
DeleteI used to live in both Winkleigh, Devon and Woodcombe just outside of Minehead, Somerset! I Iove this area and the moor. It really does look like your painting.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing Maggie, lovely that you know the area plus that you recognised it in the painting :-)
DeleteFamily live near to Minehead and more family in Wiltshire....we recently moved back to Florida, Ann. I taught watercolor painting in Minehead for three years every week!
DeleteOh my! if only I had known, you would have had an extra student!
DeleteGorgeous, Ann! No doubt it is loved in it's new home! Congrats on the sale!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn :-)
DeleteAwesome, Ann!!! I love the combination of colors and the "hands of Got" beaming out of the clouds. I can understand why it sold. Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Joan....It was a fun painting to do, as there was no intricate details to add. I used a large brush mostly, a very freeing exercise :-)
DeleteBeautiful work on your blog! You're so creative!
ReplyDeleteSmiles & best wishes, Saskia :)
Thank you so much Saskia :-)
