I love the growing jungle on my kitchen table. I sketched it the other day, along with one of my favorite mugs.
Any hints on drawing handles? I find them so hard!

Margaret, you have really to do in the kitchen, when you give water to all of these plants! Or you have perhaps it automaticly You have drawn the plants very good, and pots too. But if you want, you can look at You Tube, how they draw the most. I look there now and then, wonderful portraits they paint there for example. And listen to music of course, at same time.Lol.
ReplyDeleteI think its a beautiful peak in your kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely scene. Your handle looks fine to me! Like anything else I draw I simply let my pen follow what my eye sees. My eyes sometimes see things in a wonky way or my hand goes a bit off kilter, I simply call that "My Style!" ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the peek into your kitchen table, even the box of band aids! Hope you didn't have an ouchie!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies, I'm so happy to share this scene with you! (Sirkka, I was just thinking that same thing. "All my plants are on a different watering schedule, how complicated!" :) ) and Lynn, yes, that's the way to go! My Style! :)
ReplyDeleteThe 'dent' which i guess is the page of the sketch book makes it unique !
ReplyDeleteLove the collection on your table. Nice sketch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan!
DeleteMargaret, this is a beautiful drawing and all very well depicted. If you have any trouble drawing (eg. I struggle with complex struts on bridges, and tree branches) it helps to draw the spaces in between things.
ReplyDeleteThank you Elaine, I appreciate this!
DeleteThey look perfect to me. Lovely post
