Treasures and Momentos. My old tin. Vivi Toscano
I kept this old tin from many years ago. Its a gift from a very loved friend, that have passed away. He gave me a lot of presents, all of them very antiques! this tin is from 1938, we have lost the top of it, and its over a furniture in my kitchen.
How well you drew all the details on this old tin of Quaker Oat Meal. I still eat that today, but now it comes in a cardboard cylinder. How times change. I like your frame around the picture of the tin as well, and your story. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize they once did quick oats in tins. I only remember the cardboard containers. This has much more charm!!! Nicely done, Vivi!
