You have sketched about your daily days. I have read the most but I have not had the energi enough to sketch anything. Untill today, when I was thinking of you and the theme. It is only a few days left for this theme. (Yes, I see, it is still one and a half week, but still.) It has been much gardening and sowing and
digging for me. For my own pleasure. This year I am more eager than many other spring to work with plants. Now it is only to wait a bit untill it is sure, that it not will be any cold night more and then plant everything out, or in pots out. The days are warm but on the nights it can possibly be minus degrees still.
But here can you see a part of my plants, the most plants I placed allready in green house hoping, that they would be fine there. Hope you all have a nice spring time, or can we say summertime allready!
Sounds like you have been very busy in your garden Sirkka. Love your painting of the porch and flowers, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYes, Ann, it has been a lot to do. It has been fun and a lot of time outdoors, that I enjoy. I am glad you love my painting:)
DeleteLovely painting and nice to hear that you are getting your garden ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks jaguarish! Yes, soon it is time to only enjoy everything that appears there. It is worth all the job.
DeleteA beautiful sketch of your lovely porch and plants, and it makes me think of what pleasure you will have planting them out and watching them grow, and later harvesting and eating your own produce.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez! It is a real pleasure to see and care and enjoy.
DeleteSirkka, it is such a pleasure to see your plants! I can imagine you are having a good time and working hard. I love this view with the side of the house, just beautiful and full of the energy of spring/early summer.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret! I am glad you love the view and plants! The spring and summer give us much energy after the long winter.
DeleteSirkka what detail of your sketch. I just like this very much.
ReplyDeleteHubby panted some house plants in garden. Not even sure I can but will see. I am not really a gardener with house paints being transferred into the soil. Hit and miss maybe. I think no frost my way now..
Good that frost has gone for your way, I cant be so very sure yet, but I hope. You can learn if you want and are interested in plants. Thank you for your comment!
DeleteWhat a lovely sketch of your porch area with the plants being potted!!! I waited quite a while to plant my flowers and herbs too, just in case the temperature dropped. With our crazy weather this year you had to be careful. I hope we get to see a sketch of it when all is in bloom.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan! This year the weather has really been exceptional. We had a long, long spring, but the coldness, frost, will not take an end, especially on nights. I hope all develops and we get a nice blooming! In that case, you`ll see sketches of it too!
DeleteWhat a lovely painting showing us your spring time planting! No wonder you'd rather be with hands in dirt right now rather than paint. But I'm glad you came up for air and graced us with this lovely painting Sirrka! We have temperatures in the high 90's F today!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn. I `ll come up for air every now and then and read what happens in PPP&P and what do all my friends do there! OMG. 90 F, that is 32-33 C! How can you manage it!? For me is 20 C - 68 F already rather much! I will stay in shaddow.
