Gardens & Parks - ann hyde

Obviously at this time of year, here in the northern hemisphere, we are beginning to see signs of Spring...well, most of us I guess.  It's nice to look forward to Spring really getting under way and then Summer with all the colours we can look forward to.  Here's a quick painting (loose style)  from a photograph I took last Summer in our back garden....


yes, I went a bit crazy person with this...but I did enjoy it, lol :-)

  3. I find these wild brush strokes to be very exciting., it gives the painting motion, as if the flower is dancing!

  6. I love your 'crazy person' style here Ann. The colours and movement in the piece jump off the page with joy, and I do like the splashes which add so much to the freedom of the style.
