I decided to sketch my normal at home spot...command central. This is my corner of the couch. I like having a pillow behind me for added coziness. On the couch is a plastic box that contains most of my sketching materials so I don't have to reach far. lol My computer is usually in my lap, not on my coffee table. I can reach the phone without getting up too.
I'm ready to sketch but now I'm sitting on the other side of the room.
I love drawing the arms of that kind of stuffed couch! Your corner is cozy indeed, but not enough books on tables! LOL

ReplyDeleteMargaret - I was going to try to sketch myself actually sitting there but it involved taking the mirror down from my closet door and propping it somewhere. lol I used to have a tv cabinet with glass doors directly across from that spot, and I could sketch my reflection that way. We moved things around in the living room and that doesn't work any more. I couldn't think of a way to do it easily. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteEverything you need is right there! Except you, LOL. We use the middle couch cushion for storage, too, since no one sits there. I usually have my knitting or crochet project and my tablet there. My spot is not nearly as tidy as yours!
