Seeing the sketches of the chairs and cosy corners of rooms I decided to do a small sketch of part of my living room. This is my loveseat, lamp, and end table with a framed photo and flower in a vase.
I rarely sit over there because I am on the couch directly in front of this sketch. The couch and loveseat are at right angles. Unlike Lynn's couch this one is super comfortable and I don't slide off. LOL
This is a FANTASTIC piece. Thank you for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteJoan, you were smart to get a non-slide couch! However, that said I bet I win in the ankle strength races at the Olympics what with all my years of bracing practice trying to remain upright on my couch! Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I really like how you painted your blinds with just paint and no ink lines! Super cool!
Actually, the entire corner has made a superlative painting! I love it!
It looks very comfortable and cozy!! Love how inviting it looks...very pretty!

I love the composition! And the rose in its little vase is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have gone about this painting Joan. Super good :-)
ReplyDeleteThank everyone!
ReplyDeleteLynn, maybe we should get you some velcro. lol There is one benefit to not being able to sit on it...it will last longer.
Don't think I haven't thought of that, Joan! Super glue too to fix it to the slick leather!
DeleteI love sketches and paintings of interiors. Your little corner looks so pretty and cozy! I am always found wherever the lamp is, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks, Melisa. Maybe I'll get around to sketching my resting spot...but it means I have to get out of it!
ReplyDeleteNice job. I feel like sitting down and visiting.:)
ReplyDeleteThis is really a good composition. The colors harmonize together. Beautiful,Joan!
