This challenge brings me to think on many variations of vacations. To day i remembered a vacation, when we in our painting group took a boat to the Archipelago , settled down there in a guesthouse and painted there around. on the rocks and enjoyed the water scenes. One day we hired a little boat and went to an island more far away and painted there too.
The islands are formed of rocks, and naturally surrounded by the sea. In this case the Baltic Sea.I used again my Fabriano sketcbook, size 8"1/4x11"3/4, not suitable for watercolors, the paper creases, unfortunately. ( I bought to day a new one, I hope it is a little better)
These are simply lovely. And sweet memories of a wonderful art vacation!!! Love that idea. And on the Baltic Sea! I also love how we encompass so much of the world here in our artists lives!

DeleteBeautiful paintings, I love the subtle colours and the thought of travelling around those islands to paint.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez! I am glad you like the colors. It was very fun everything. We visited a house in one island, which was built by a baron once upon the time, he had donated it to the community,There was much beautiful to see. He had organized a harbor of the stones, built bridges and rased a statue on the top of a mountain. And we painted everything on our papers.
