Yesterday I took a ride and headed for a greenhouse in Jamesport. It is called The Glass Greenhouse. Even though the temperature was on the cold side they did have some tables of flowers outside in the sun. It was good to see a bit of color! I painted this from my car because it was still too cold for me to sit outside. lol Spring arrives tomorrow...I hope it brings a little warmth with it.

ReplyDeleteJ0an, you found a beautiful greenhouse to paint! I love the colors too and your way to draw.
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st day of spring, Joan! I hope you get some warmth today. It's supposed to get up to 74 here and the sun is shining so I am happy. Love the colors in this, especially the blues and greens.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great greenhouse. I love the blues of it. You painted it very well. Great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking greenhouse. Nice splash of red in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteA lovely painting of the greenhouse, not the easiest thing to paint, but you have done it so well. I love all the blues, pink and greens, it looks very 3-D and the red plant livens it all up. I think I am right in feeling that the shadow shapes inside the greenhouse are people, and this is such a clever way to indicate the presence of people inside.
ReplyDeleteI love the turquoise color. And the drawing is wonderful.
