Time Away From Home Vacations & Holidays, Castle Drogo, ann hyde
Trips away from home, for us include day trips too and short breaks - little holidays that revive ones sole ... We visited Castle Drogo - which I have since sketched
I love castles, but we've never visited Castle Drogo. It looks pretty well complete, so must have been interesting to see inside. Your sketch and the afternoon shadows are lovely.
Thanks Jez. At the time of our visit it was undergoing a lot of renovation works, but then it was nice to see how they were going about it. Hope to go back again some time.

DeleteLovely watercolor sketch. Castle Drogo sound so sinister but it does not look that way.
