Gardens & Parks - ann hyde
Obviously at this time of year, here in the northern hemisphere, we are beginning to see signs of Spring...well, most of us I guess. It's nice to look forward to Spring really getting under way and then Summer with all the colours we can look forward to. Here's a quick painting (loose style) from a photograph I took last Summer in our back garden....

ReplyDeleteI find these wild brush strokes to be very exciting., it gives the painting motion, as if the flower is dancing!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Ann. Lots of movement.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sirkka, Joan, Lynn and Gloria.....sometimes you just have to GO FOR IT don't you, lol :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your 'crazy person' style here Ann. The colours and movement in the piece jump off the page with joy, and I do like the splashes which add so much to the freedom of the style.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with going crazy person as long as you are having fun! It's fresh and pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright colored water color. Nice technique.
ReplyDeleteI love the splashes and drips and drops and the pencil lines showing. Loose Style Watercolor, my favorite.
