Fantasy Destinations, Majorca, Ann Hyde

Majorca is one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean.  We've been there a few times and it always stays one of my favourite destinations.  I know the Theme is Fantasy which infers a place never visited and dream of, but I've got to include this as one day we will return there, for now I paint it...

    Nicely done, Ann! That is a place I've always wanted to go visit.

    Sorry I am not participating in this theme yet. I am visiting family out of town this week and then will be taking a watercolor class next week. I don't know if I will get a chance but I will try.

      Although Majorca is a fairly small island, it has quite varied scenery. The west side is hilly and very beautiful with rocky coves, but the south has the touristy beaches. All very lovely.

    Lucky you to go there a few times. Never been there myself but hope to change that in the future. Lovely artwork
