Quick studies, Selfies, by Elaine (jaguarish)

Below are some quick studies of a friend, and Sandee (who I believe I can also call friend now!)

I have been thinking that I wanted to change style and do something looser.  Also, I have this Chinese calligraphy (fude) pen, the Hero 1117 (similar to the more famous Sailor), which I haven't used much yet, so I was trying it out.  These are actually just very small scribbles in my writing notebook (hence the white gridlines) but hopefully will be the steps toward something more fully realised.

    Wonderful sketches. I love that you show the before (unsatisfied with it) and the after (closer to photo). Excellent and it gives me hope. Blessings, Janet PPF
