So good. Learning something new all the time, and being inspired by other artists is what keeps us young. I tell the brands and sizes as I am always curious myself as to how an artist got a certain line in their own art work. The numbers are the sizes of the pen points. Small is 01, 03 is medium, 08 is thick/large. I hope that helps some. Micron is a brand of a pen I happen to like. (Other brands I like are Primacolor/Farber-Castell Pitt Pens. Just some examples like Uni-Ball or Papermate or Sharpie. Colored Pencils are used for blending colors. And yes, there are many brands of watercolor paints too. All this I have only learned myself in recent years since I started drawing and painting my art works. I can see how it can all seem overwhelming to someone not used to these terms. All one really needs to draw is a standard #2 pencil and a piece of paper. It could be the inside of a grocery bag even. But once in the "art world" we learn that all these tools exist and think we need them to make good art. Not so. But we buy them anyway. Silly, isn't it? Thanks for asking. You didn't need to delete your comment. It was worth responding to.Lynn Cohenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12094038275377357886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6402833299860787322.post-70300626637519672552014-04-25T16:21:06.402-07:002014-04-25T16:21:06.402-07:00Wonderful sketches Lynn.
