THEME: WINTER/SUMMER by Emily Anderson


Emily Anderson's favorite place to vacation is on Mackinac Island in Michigan (USA). You can only bike, walk or hoof it by renting a horse or horse taxis on the island. Here the artist has recreated a scene of a horse taxi on the island near the end of the summer season.

    There's an old world feel to this to me. It reminds me of an Amish painting.
