"Three for The Price of One", Animals, Lynn Cohen
This was done quickly with the Uni Ball vision elite black pen on watercolor paper 6" X 4" post card book across a two page spread. I quickly splashed on some Winsor & Newton watercolors. A red Micron pen was utilized for the noses and date.
Henry caught spread full length on husbands chest and lap. Blue are his jeans. As Henry changed positions in his sleep I changed gesture or is it contour drawings giving the painting three cats for the price of one. I drew this while standing looking into the room at the two of them.

Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteUn très joli petit trio que ces minous... Je croyais que c'était la souris verte qu'on tenait par la queue, mais après tout pourquoi pas les minous ❣❣❣ sourire
Gros bisous♡
Love it, love the dynamic look of the sketch with your loose line and triple cat!
ReplyDelete3 x thanks! ;-)))
DeleteLynn, lovely sketch of your Henry cat at triple, Love the loose line.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sketch and I can almost feel your hand moving across the page speedily. Apart from your background story, which is great, it can also be viewed as though it is from above, which makes Henry V x 3 look like three cats on the prowl. It adds extra interest.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore how you view my art! Always showing me more that's there making it a surprise for me. Thank you so much.
