Close to Home, by Joan Tavolott

Seeing the sketches of the chairs and cosy corners of rooms I decided to do a small sketch of part of my living room. This is my loveseat, lamp, and end table with a framed photo and flower in a vase.
I rarely sit over there because I am on the couch directly in front of this sketch. The couch and loveseat are at right angles. Unlike Lynn's couch this one is super comfortable and I don't slide off. LOL

  2. Joan, you were smart to get a non-slide couch! However, that said I bet I win in the ankle strength races at the Olympics what with all my years of bracing practice trying to remain upright on my couch! Just sayin'.
That said, I really like how you painted your blinds with just paint and no ink lines! Super cool!
Actually, the entire corner has made a superlative painting! I love it!

Lynn, maybe we should get you some velcro. lol There is one benefit to not being able to sit on it...it will last longer.

    1. Don't think I haven't thought of that, Joan! Super glue too to fix it to the slick leather!
